About the film

The film was commissioned by GIFT, the Gwent Independent Film Trust. It was made by Peter Watkins Hughes, a social documentary and feature film maker based in the Blaenau Gwent area.

Peter has worked with Gwent police on several occasions, notably on the 2009 anti distraction driving film, COW.

He wanted to make a film about domestic abuse and domestic violence which would come from a completely different angle to anything which has been shown before.

"It is a thriller film, with a gripping plot and twists. We want it to appeal to a wide cross section of society, and for people to come to the police and other agencies to find out more about the factors behind domestic abuse, and what we can do to stop it."

The film was made with the kind assistance of Nevill Hall hospital and the Wales Air Ambulance Service.
